Smile design is the planning step, not a treatment on its own. The dentist analyses your face, lips and teeth from photos and a 3D scan, then designs tooth shape, width, length and the smile line digitally. You see the result as a preview before any tooth is touched.
The design is then printed as a mock-up and tried in your mouth for a few minutes, so you can judge it in the mirror and on your phone camera. Only when you approve it do we choose the least invasive way to build it: bonding where possible, veneers or crowns where not.
